Such a great experience using Dr Tuffley to remove 3 of my wisdom teeth. It was my first time going under I was certainly a little bit anxious but he made it a lot easier by telling a joke and talking me through it. The next couple days were amazing compared to friends that I know who have had wisdom teeth out, I had very limited swelling and soreness even the day straight away surgery. Everything is healing well and following his cleaning and antibiotics schedule. I honestly will be recommending him to anyone that needs oral surgery.

After putting off having my impacted wisdom teeth removed for 20 years, I was referred by my dentist to Dr Tuffley, who had removed his children’s wisdom teeth. I agree that he is an “immaculate surgeon”. I couldn’t be happier with the six-star experience! I requested to have the surgeries done under local anesthetic and Dr Tuffley’s chair-side manner was outstanding and so comforting. He “released” the teeth two per session. I couldn’t tell when any of them actually detached and had to ask and have a laugh about it. I had no problem with infection or nerve damage and the root holes are naturally filling in nicely. Mark is a superstar and I can’t recommend him and his wonderful team enough!

I recently had 3 wisdom teeth extracted by Doctor Tuffley under general anesthetic. I can confirm, the ocean of 5 star reviews are spot on! If his experience and knowledge isn’t enough, he has a warm and calming bedside manner which is great if you’re nervous about surgery. I recall a few laughs, half a dad joke, and waking up with the surgery done and little to no pain. Truly a wizard at what he does and clearly has your recovery at heart the whole way.Doctor Tuffley’s office provides clear advice on pre-surgery preparation and post-surgery care. Following their instructions along with the use of their prescribed CNM cream, my pain never exceeded a 3 out of 10. All I needed was panadol and never touched the hard stuff (oxy). If you’re looking for the best in Brisbane, look no further.

Wow what amazing people! Dr Tuffley, Del and the entire team are just beautiful people. I felt so cared for and safe. My infected root canal was removed and I had absolutely no pain or dramas after the procedure and it has healed perfectly. I had to change my surgical apt a few times for personal reasons and they were so understanding and accomodating. Nothing was too much trouble and I couldn't recommend Dr Tuffley and is wonderful crew highly enough!

Mark Tuffley is a hero.I have been struggling with my wisdom teeth for ages and yesterday I went under and he took them out. Everyone in my life told me that I would be in immense pain and swelling for days.The very next day, I am feeling absolutely great. Minor pain, minor swelling, minor trauma.Make no mistake, Dr Tuffley is an artist. He takes great care of his patients because he truly cares. Exactly 2 weeks ago, i had my 3 wisdom teeth removed by Dr Tuffley. I was first told by a dentist to go with the safer option for my case which is coronectomy, then i was refer to Dr Tuffley. I must say after my first visit to a regular denstist, i felt worried to have my wisdom teeth removed. However, after consulting with Dr Tuffley, he managed to reassure me that there wont be any harm upon surgery. Given the fact of his years of experience and talent I can say that i never had any issues in regards to recovering process. The pain is very minimal. Dr Tuffley is very accommodating especially his staff, he always shares "Dad jokes" which make you feel at ease upon consultation.I would definitely recommend Dr Tuffley to anyone who wanted a oral surgeon for special cases like mine. He is indeed, THE BEST.

Truly a stress free experience. I had surgery two days ago with Dr Tuffley to remove three wisdom teeth and haven't yet had to use any pain killers, I am completely pain free. In addition no bleeding, oozing or face bruising. From the first consult to waking up in recovery, Dr Tuffley's kind and funny nature has shined throughout his work. Recently I had my wisdom teeth plus others removed in one procedure. Dr Tuffley done such an amazing job, I had no pain, minor swelling and I healed perfectly. Amazing care and patience had been taken by Dr Tuffley & his team. They are all amazing humans!!!! Everyone in his team are very genuine and caring, nothing is an issue, they make you feel like you are the most important person, every time! And Dr Tuffley, he is a sweetheart, he is funny and truly cares. Explains everything, let’s you ask questions and actually listens to you, can be a rare trait these days. The very next day after my surgery I was recommending him and have done so since, I would recommend in a heartbeat. Dr Tuffley is the BEST!!!!!

My wisdom teeth extraction itself was unremarkable - pretty much the degree of post-op bruising and discomfort that I expected from any surgery. However, I would never go back to this doctor - his bedside and consulting manner is frankly bizarre, and I found him very condescending. He also ran late for my consultation, and had another patient's radiographs mistakenly pulled up when I entered the room.(Less important, but my pre-op information package also contained a lot of grammatical mistakes, which doesn't exactly inspire professional confidence, you know?)All in all, I'd recommend going elsewhere.

Dr Mark Tuffley is probably the best doctor I have had! He removed my wisdom teeth in Feb this year. Everyone else was too afraid to take them out (including another specialist) because of the permanent risks (nerve damage). He told me that he could do it with minimal risks. He has a great sense of humour too with so many qualifications! He is the best doctor I’ve known which is very rare, lol (FYI, he is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon which means he is the top doctor treating oral problems.) I am recommending a friend of mine to him as she is looking for a good doctor to remove her wisdom teeth now.

Dr Tuffley is an amazing surgeon.I was extremely anxious having GA surgery to remove 4 wisdom teeth, but I need not have been. The surgery was quick, relatively painless apart from small sting from IV insertion, and once I was awake I never felt any pain until the evening, and even now 24hrs later the pain is still manageable without medication. I may be just lucky, but it's more likely that the Dr Tuffley really is a very skilled surgeon. A perfect 10 out of 10.Would highly recommend.

Had 3 wisdom teeth and a molar (previously failed root canal) removed after weeks of at times agonising pain. Was expecting to wake up from surgery in some discomfort due to how painful the tooth had been prior to the procedure. To my surpise, I woke up with no pain whatsoever, albeit with some expected jaw swelling and tenderness in biting for a few days after. Now just over one week post surgery and im back to a normal diet with minimal discomfort and nil further complications. Dr Tuffley is a brilliant surgeon with a calm and positive bedside manner, his reception staff are also brilliant. I'll have no hesitation recommending his services to others in the future.

Relatively pain free for having all 4 wisdoms removed and definitely appreciate his light touch in operating. If you suffer from facial pain, have Temporomandibular Jaw Disorder (TMJ) or Postherpetic Neuralgia (PHN), or suspect you may have these disorders I can't recommend Dr Tuffley and his staff highly enough (especially if you have/suspect you have hEDS/HSD). I have suffered with pain for over 20 years and Dr Tuffley has done more for me than any other specialist I've seen in all those years. He's not only been treating me for TMJ but when I recently had facial/head pain so bad that it was debilitating me for over a week and he was able to diagnose, in one appointment, an underlying condition that has been the cause of my pain these 20 years by going through my entire history and symptoms. He was able to recommend the best treatment for it and I'll be starting that ASAP. Save yourself time and stress if you've had bad experiences with other doctors, go DIRECT to Dr Tuffley's office. He's the nicest man, he's compassionate with a wonderful bedside manner, he genuinely cares about you, and his staff including Kelly and Sharon are just the loveliest and most caring people I've come across and they go above and beyond for you. I can't sing their praises high enough. With their help I've got a chance at pulling my life out of this chronic pain nightmare and going back to work in future. They're the best and they have all my gratitude. <3

Dr. Mark Tuffley is the best doctor I have seen over my 25 year course of life. He's like crazy funny rock star uncle with great deal of experience. He extracted my teeth yesterday with general anesthesia. I had absolutely no pain at all. Moreover, I have no side effect of anesthesia even as outlined in the scholarly articles. I don't even need anyone to take care of me. I took my shower, do my usual work slept at 3 am and next day I woke up very energetically without any need for after care from someone, I don't even need sleep either. I felt like I am under rush of good chemicals with full of endorphins after taking my teeth out where I should actually be feeling dizzy groggy and with other scary side effects according to medical instruction and scholarly articles. The definition of surgery totally change in my mind with Dr. Tuffley. It is a life changing experience for me. I have living with pain not only having oral pain but a pain on my head which affect my mood during my communication with others and my studies and my career until I met Dr. Tuffley. Life is never been as great as before. I am going to go to him again and I recommend everyone who is afraid of dentistry to Dr. Tuffley. Trust me it feels more hurt to pluck a hair out then knocking a tooth out with Dr.Tuffley. He made me want to take care of my health. His surreal peanut butter is great, his surgical skills are greatest in his time. He is one of the legendary dentist of the Brisbane. I would never say that until my treatment is done.
